I've already made sure that windows isn't using the device for audio output, which seems to be the common fix for this problem. With my Toshiba Satellite P855 running Windows 7, when I plug in the controller, the Serato screen flashes to the online/dual deck mode, then immediately goes back into offline and says 'audio error' on the bottom of the screen. I've gotten it home and tested it with 2 laptops, and can't get it to work with either - and both have different issues. I did, however, get MIDI-OX, and verify that all the controls worked. We met at a Starbucks with the slowest WiFi I've ever used, and i wasn't able to download Serato at the time. The seller demonstrated the controller working with his Mac. Controller and flight case for $500, I was pretty happy. So i bought a used DDJ-SX from Craigslist. PLEASE REPORT posts and comments that violate the above rules or just suck. I dj'd last weekend with my friend's set up. I ordered the pioneer Ddj sx2 and it's coming in tomorrow. Be aware, it's a BETA driver so it’s not the official driver. All current El Capitan users can download and try it out with your system at your own risk. The driver is called the Mac OSX 10.11 Driver 3.3.7 (Beta) driver.
